Law of Brackets
Ah, I just picked the Cuse to win it all. This will just make any loss by the Orangemen (I will not call them the Orange) just that more excrutiating. I picked Syracuse because of my First (and only) Law of Bracketology. It says that "If your team is a #4 seed or above, you must pick them to go all the way." It takes guts to obey the law when your team is a #4. But a 3,2 or 1? You're a turncoat if you listen to anything but your heart on that one.

I have 5, count 'em, 5 Big East teams in the Sweet 16 - Nova, UConn, Cuse, Pitt and BC. Wake, UNC and Duke from the ACC and Kansas, Oklahoma and OK State from the Big 12. My God, I don't have any double digit seeds in the Sweet 16. I just couldn't think of a good one.

Ohio beats Florida and UW-Milwaukee beats 'Bama. Pitt knocks off Washington. I just didn't see much in the mid majors this year.

I agonized over Illinois-Arizona in the elite 8 but went with the three headed monster of Illinios over the streaky Stoudamire. UConn knocks off North Caroline (see I'm picking with my emotions, not my head). Wake beats the underrated Louisville. Syracuse knocks off Duke, Kentucky, UConn and Illinios to win the national championship. Gerry McNamara, Hakin Warrick, Josh Pace, Craig Forth, Watson, Nichols, Roberts, McCroskey are coming. That's right, Syracuse!
I hope you don't tell Josh you picked his team to lose!
